The new Roborock S7 Robot Vacuum debuts with 2500Pa suction and upgraded Sonic mopping function

Roborock S7

Roborock is a brand that is synonymous with robot vacuums such as the S6 Pure that Jared reviewed, and today’s announcement at CES 2021 (the virtual edition) marks the debut of the Roborock S7. Sporting one of the fastest sonic mops on the market, the S7 promises to leave floors cleaner than ever before.

The Roborock S7’s sonic mop creates 50Hz vibration up to 3,000 times a minute that should make disintegrating surface dirt and the break up of dried-on messes much easier than before. Besides being more powerful, the mop is smarter than ever before thanks to VibraRise which enables it to lift automatically when the robot vacuum detects a carpet.

As with last year’s flagship, the S6 MaxV, the Roborock S7 sports 2500Pa suction but the brush has been upgraded with a finned all-rubber design so it will get closer to the ground and be more efficient at lifting dust and debris. There’s a big 5,200mAh battery that provides up to 3 hours of uninterrupted cleaning in quiet mode, and once the battery is flat the robot will automatically return to the dock to recharge.

Features:

  • PreciSence LiDAR Navigation
  • Sensient Sensor Array
  • Auto Top-Up
  • Automatic Room Recognition
  • Washable Air Filter
  • Child Lock
  • Scratchsafe Wheels and Brushes
  • Adaptive Route Algorithms
  • Status Indicator Lights

Adding even more convenience to the Roborock S7 is the presence of support for Alexa, Google Assistant, and Siri which means you can control it with voice commands as well as from an app on your Android or iOS smartphone. Smart mapping lets the robot navigate its way around obstacles on the floor and provides real-time updates on its progress.

The Roborock S7 goes on sale in the US from March 24th for $649.
